Technical alarms, along with the fire alarm system and the alarm system, are a powerful means of protecting your home from accidents. Some of the basic alarms are as follows:
- burglary;
- fire;
- flood;
- short circuit;
- interruption of power supply;
- gas leakage;
- motion sensor;
- broken window;
The Cyber Home System offers additional protection against leakage of domestic gas and floods.
The gas leakage alarm relies on a gas detector installed in a room where gas is used – a kitchen, a boiler room. When using natural gas (methane), the detector should be positioned at a height of 30 cm from the ceiling of the room. When using domestic gas (propane-butane), the detector should be positioned 30 cm from the floor. When a gas is detected at a concentration higher than the pre-set (factory), an acoustic and light alarm is included. Additionally, a signal is sent to the touch display to visually display the type of alarm and its location. In the event of a gas leak alarm, the Cyber Dom takes a series of actions to protect the home and the occupants:
- automatically stops gas supply to the home by closing the central gas valve;
- automatically excludes all potentially dangerous electrical appliances in the room to prevent explosion and fire;
- sends a message about the event to all family members via SMS and / or email;
- switches off the central ventilation system to prevent gas spreading;
- switches on local ventilation to distribute gas
- opens the window in the affected room to dissipate the gas;
- switches on lighting in common areas to help ease evacuation of occupants;
- opens the front door for safe exit;
The flood alarm relies on a detector mounted on the floor of the premises where running water is used – a bathroom, a kitchen, a boiler room. When water leakage is detected, an audible and a light alarm is included. Additionally, a signal is sent to the touch screen to visually display the alarm type and location. In the event of a flood alarm, the Cyber Home takes a series of actions to protect your home:
- automatically stops water supply to the home by closing the central water pipe valve;
- automatically switches off all electrical appliances in the flooded area to protect the occupants from electric shock;
- sends a message about the event to all family members via SMS and/or email;
